Film and television option

I am delighted to announce that Renelle Richards and Mark Forytarz from Spark Plug Films love my book The River Mouth and have optioned the film and television rights through Fremantle Press. Mark was a co-producer on PAWNO, the critically acclaimed film nominated for six AACTA awards and the winner of the Jury Grand Prize for the best feature film at Cannes des Antipodes, as part of the Cannes Film Festival.  He has worked with some amazing Australian talent including Shane Jacobsen, Jackie Weaver, Hugo Weaving, and one of my favourite actors, Roy Billing.
